Three Little Luxuries To Ask For On Your Luxury Tour To Peru

About Me
Traveling For Business

There are a lot of people who only travel for pleasure, but I mainly travel for work purposes. I work for a large company that sends me all over the globe to promote our products, and it has been difficult to learn how to stay comfortable on the road. I work hard to do everything I can to prepare for my trips, but some hotels make it difficult to stay comfortable during the journey. This blog is completely dedicated to traveling for business and learning how to be a tourist--even when you aren't in a city simply to enjoy your free time.

Three Little Luxuries To Ask For On Your Luxury Tour To Peru

The best way to travel to another country is to travel with a few luxuries. This will make sure that you have a standard of living that is similar or above that at home so that you know that you will have a good time. If you are booking with a travel agency, there are some things that you should be sure are included in your tour. Here are three things that you want to be included in your luxury tour to Peru

A guide up the mountain

One of the main reasons why people visit Peru is to go to Machu Picchu. Though you can enter and hike the mountain on your own, it is often better if you have a guide to go along with you. A guide will be able to arrange for your transportation to and from the mountain, plus provide you with the most scenic routes and a history lesson along the way. This can make for a more informative and enjoyable trip than attempting to get to the mountain yourself and hiking all alone.

Free breakfast at the hotel

One of the small luxuries that you may forget to ask for but will make the trip different is a free breakfast. Being able to have breakfast in your hotel with your family, friends, or tour group is an excellent start to the day. If you are also trying to get used to food in a different country, a free buffet breakfast is the perfect method for being able to sample some local foods without the pressure of having to select an entree immediately. A free breakfast in the morning can also mean that you are full for an entire day's worth or exploration without needing a heavy lunch later on.

Bottled water delivery

Depending on the hotel that you are assigned, you may or may not have a small refrigerator available. For this reason, it is a good idea to bring along a small, soft sided cooler and have bottled water delivered to your room daily. When you are visiting Peru, the water is not safe to drink from the tap. Since you will not have the kitchen facilities to boil water, you will need to drink bottled water on a daily basis. Have your agency sign you up for water delivery to your hotel room each day. This will make sure that you have plenty of water for hydration while you are walking around the country. It will also provide you with refreshment if you decide to eat lunch or dinner inside of the hotel.
